Hello, Allowing the built-in administrator account and attempting to make the modifications you desire by logging into this account and checking would be my recommendation.

Type the following command in the elevated Command Prompt and then hit the Enter key to execute it.

After restarting your computer, you should be able to view the Administrator account.

To make the Admin account invisible, use the following command: /active: net user administrator /network: no I hope that is of assistance.

I’d like it if you could respond to each of the following diagnostic questions in a correspondingly-numbered list in your very next reply, ideally without referencing this post: How long ago did you acquire your Windows 7 machine (approximately)?

When (and to what date, if possible) did you update to Windows 10?

Did you apply the upgrade supplied through Windows Update, or did you utilize the Media Creation ToolISO download instead?

What is the entire name of your currently-installed third-party antivirus application or security suite (i.e., not Windows Defender!) and when (about) does your current subscription to that application or security suite (if any) expire?

If any third-party anti-malware apps (i.e., those other than Windows Defender!) are installed, what versions are they?

Sixth, has any Norton or McAfee software ever been installed or updated on the computer since you purchased it?

Did a Norton free trial or a McAfee free trial come preloaded on the Windows 7 PC when you purchased it?

KB3124263 and KB3124266 are mentioned in Installed Updates (but not in Update History) if you have them.

I purchased the barebones computer around 1.5 years ago and loaded Windows 7 64-bit professional as soon as it came.

In November 2015, I downloaded a series of Windows updates in order to be able to install Windows 10 on my computer.

I’ve changed the refresh rate of the page.

In terms of browsers, I primarily utilized Microsoft Edge.

There is nothing else installed.

Regarding the Adobe Flash player: Version 20,0,0,286 is currently installed on your system.

I used to use such apps on a regular basis to maintain my computer in good health, and I also used to clear the registry using CCleaner every now and again.

Otherwise, I’ll have to reformat the entire drive (if that’s not even possible, I’ll most likely have to replace the HDD and reinstall everything from my backup drive).

Sorry if this wasn’t of assistance.

MalWare Bytes, Ad-Aware, and other similar programs 6.7.8.9.10.11 CCleaner is used to clear the registry from time to time.

Is it possible to boot the computer into Safe Mode?

Has MalwareBytes’ Anti-Malware and/or Ad-Aware ever discovered, deleted, or quarantined anything other than innocent third-party cookies since they were installed?

3. Are there backups of ALL the modifications performed to the computer by the CCleaner’s Registry Cleaner component at any point in time?

  • It’s possible that the improper usage of registry cleaners has had a part in this situation. TIP: If you ever have the impression that your Registry needs to be cleaned, repaired, boosted, tuned-up, cured, tweaked, fixed, maximized, “swept,” or optimized (it does not), read this article and this older (but still valid) article (as well as the related links cited therein) and then draw your own conclusions.
